More than 765 quintals of avocado was exported

In the West Gojjam Zone of Amhara State, a rich avocado cultivated on 270 hectares by 86 farmers has been exported for the fourth time.
Last year, 63 quintals of avocados were supplied to the Israeli market by the avocado growers’ association, and this year 765 quintals of avocados will be shipped to China, Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
Koga Veg, a humanitarian organization that is exporting its products to farmers, has increased the number of countries to which it can export.
More than 200 jobs have been created, most of them women.
