Addis Ababa: August 30, 2012 (FBC) The Ministry of Education announced that students will have a career after completing the 12th grade in the new curriculum.
The Minister of Education, Dr. Getahun Mukaraba, said the government will focus on creating professional and knowledgeable professionals in all fields of education.
He was speaking during a discussion of the Ministry of Education’s 10-year plan for the general education sector.
During the discussion, it was stated that the Ministry of Education is working to make general education one of the vocational education sectors.
It is also stated that in order to create a professional student in high school, the next vocational education will be provided in parallel with the formal education.
As a result, students are expected to become professionals by the time they graduate from high school.
In addition, adult and non-formal education will continue to be strengthened.
